There is an old bromide about boat ownership that goes something like this: The two happiest days of boat owners' lives are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it. I think the same can be said for taking on the job of editing a journal. I was honored to have been chosen for this important task and excited to take on the new challenge, but I am also relieved now that it's over. Although one more issue of Argumentation and Advocacy will be published with my name on the masthead as editor, a trio of highly capable scholars will serve as guest editors making this issue the last that is truly mine.
