Holley Gardel enlisted her Web-developer husband, Brian, to help her get an e-commerce site devoted to bean bags, www.beanbagzone.com, In 2006, but it wasn't until a friend's 3-year-old asked about bean bags that EcoSak was born. Her friend's answer--"It's a hunk of junk that ends up in the landfill"--spurred Gardel to develop a greener bean bag.
