The latest article by Will Durst is the second time that he has shown a lack of regard for the feelings of an entire group of people ("Dim Is King," November issue).

I take great offense to his suggestion that the ignorance pervading our country is due to simply less than average intelligence. My child suffers from cognitive deficits as a result of her overexposure to heavy metals, which are pervasive in our society.
