As a new subscriber to The Progressive, I was looking forward to informed and insightful news and commentary on politics in the U.S.A. On receiving my first issue, my eye was drawn to the monkey cartoon and Will Durst's article on Bush's leisure time ("You Call This Hard Work?" August issue). I was shocked to read, "His head is so far up the b*** of the Christian Right."
