Dubya proves Gandhi right.

I'm a combat veteran of World War II, having served aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in the Pacific from 1944 to '45. I thought that the Gandhi quote in Colman McCarthy's "God on Our Side" (November issue) was especially appropriate to these times. He observed, "The only people on Earth that do not see Christ's teachings as nonviolent are Christians." The Crusades immediately come to mind, and now we have Dubya, our Christian leader, marshalling forces for yet another crusade.
