DTN recruits Acosta head as new CEO.

A Burnsville-based analytics company has named a consulting and marketing veteran as its new CEO.

DTN specializes in financial and weather-related data analytics and prediction, with customers ranging from Hawaiian Airlines to the University of Notre Dame football program. The company announced last week that CEO Ron Sznaider will be stepping down from his role for Steve Matthesen. Matthesen comes after serving as CEO of BTB sales and marketing agency Acosta and in senior roles with The Nielsen Company and Boston Consulting Group.

Matthesen is the right person to oversee the company in a period of rapid growth, said Sznaider, who will remain with the company as vice chair of the board.
