The Greenville Legislative Delegation Transportation Committee and the city of Greer will rebid the Greer Station Streetscape project after receiving one submission at the bid opening on Nov. 8.

Ed Driggers, Greer city administrator, said the $11,757,838 bid from Sossamon Construction exceeded pre-bid projections. City officials worked on value engineering options in an effort to reduce the anticipated cost of construction and the project was rebid Monday, Nov. 19, according to a news release. General contractors have a 31-day window to submit bids.
