Dowland-Bach Corporation was founded in 1975 to meet the need for fail-safe Wellhead Shutdown Systems at the Prudhoe Bay oilfield on Alaska's North Slope. Dowland-Bach has since grown into an international corporation while remaining 100% Alaskan-owned and operated.

Dowland-Bach's management has been dedicated to the development of a skilled staff who can engineer, design and manufacture industrial control equipment from the ground up. The ability to design, engineer and fabricate under the same roof has proved invaluable to many clients. The specialty areas of fabrication includes stainless piping fabrication, stainless tubing work, stainless sheet metal design, and custom fabrication and welding. In addition, Dowland-Bach helps manufacture process control systems, instrumentation, wellhead safety systems and chemical injection systems. Dowland-Bach is also an expert at UL508-UL698 electrical panels. The ability to integrate all of these different skills and disciplines has made Dowland-Bach somewhat of a "one stop" engineering and fabrication entity serving all of Alaska and other geographic areas of the world.
