Don't worry about Ralph?

After reading the April Editor's Note, I didn't know what to make of it ("Don't Worry About Ralph," by Matthew Rothschild). Was Rothschild being passive-aggressive regarding Nader? I have always had a great admiration for Ralph, and after watching An Unreasonable Man , it has only increased. I have no plans on voting for the "Experience" or the "Hope" candidate. I voted for Nader in 2000 and in 2004. I don't regret it, and will gladly do it again.

I voted for Nader in 2004, and thank God he is running so I can vote for him in 2008. Corrupt Obama and Corporate Hillary are simply politics as usual. Obama has turned hope into nothing more than an advertising slogan for Big Coal, nuclear power, military buildup, and compromises with drug companies, health care providers, and the rest of corporate America.

Ralph needs to take his ball and go home. I will never forgive him for the past seven-plus years. Bush, in my estimation, is Nader's legacy--forget hanging chads and arguably corrupt election officials.

Ralph may have many good things to say, and I would never deign to begrudge him his right to voice his opinion, or to attempt to influence the electorate, but he would do much better on the lecture circuit than as a candidate. No one will ever convince me that he has helped...
