DOL drops Trump-era independent contractor rule.

The U.S. Department of Labor has withdrawn a rule issued in the waning days of the Trump administration that would have redrawn the boundary line between employee and independent contractor. In general, Trump's "economic realities" test would have allowed employers to designate more workers as contractors, not employees.
