Giant cockroaches, an off-the-wall scientist, and a beauty pageant that includes creatures from throughout the galaxy pepper Dodd's zany SF comedy, which twists and turns on every page. Theora starts out as a normal high school student who just needs a topic for her science project and decides to find out whether the monster that lives in the local lake is real. Little does she realize that her intergalactic adventures have only just begun. The famous Dr. Ubermind surfaces in a submarine, and she and her younger brother Verb join him for adventures as members of his junior research institute. However, they are soon kite-kidnapped by the manager of the Burger Buckaroo, Mr. Tsam Saa, who is, in fact, a giant cockroach from the moon, as are all Burger Buckaroo employees.
