It All Goes Under the Label of Wealth Management

Trust, retirement 401(k) plans for businesses, Investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning, etc., all come under the umbrella of Wealth Management.

It's Wealth Management or Retirement Services

Wealth Management includes: Trust & Investments, Alerus Investment Advisors and Alerus Securities (brokerage).

Retirement Services includes: Alerus Retirement Solutions, Retirement Income Solutions (IRA roll-overs), and ESOP Fiduary Services.

We recently pulled retirement services out separately from wealth management because this part of our business administers retirement plan assets as opposed to managing the assets. Thus, from a reporting standpoint, our management team felt it more accurate to treat them as separate business divisions.
