* The Integrated Program Management Division--which was formerly the program management systems committee under the Procurement Division--is the primary forum for maintaining strong industry and government working relationships to promote disciplined program performance management methodologies for planning and executing programs.

The division works collaboratively with government agencies to ensure integrated program performance management processes are implemented efficiently, to achieve consensus on common challenges related to this discipline and to see that policy and guidance is applied appropriately.

Disciplined program performance management methodologies include earned value management as defined in the EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems that the original committee authored and has maintained since 1997.

The elevation from a committee to a division level in 2014 reflected the growing emphasis within industry and government on improving the implementation and use of integrated program management processes. It also expanded the committee's scope of work to include program/project management.
