Tax division confers Dixon Memorial Award.

Robert M. Rosen is this year's recipient of the Arthur J. Dixon Memorial Award, the highest award given by the accounting profession in the area of taxation. Rosen, a CPA and an attorney, is a retired partner of Ernst & Young, where he practiced with the firm's National Tax Office for 28 years. Rosen served at Ernst & Young as an expert in consolidated tax returns, as the National Director of Tax Education and as National Director of Tax Quality Control.

He has an extensive record of service and leadership with the AICPA. Most notably, as a consolidated return specialist, Rosen served as chair of the AICPA Task Force on Consolidated Returns and as chair of the Corporations and Shareholders Committee. Many of Rosen's other volunteer activities for the AICPA focused on education.
