KBA Diversity Committee 2022 Recap

This past year I had the honor and pleasure of serving as co-chair of the KBA's Diversity Committee alongside Brian Kong. Meredith Hogan passed the torch to Brian and me after working tirelessly over the past several years to make the committee a success. Diversity and diversity initiatives have been such a big part of my path to becoming an attorney and person I am today that I could not pass up the opportunity when the KBA president offered me the position. I am thrilled with what we accomplished in 2022 and am enthusiastic for what will happen in 2023. I'll sum up the Diversity Committee's year in three words: education, collaboration, and inspiration.

Education
