Distribution facility receives LEED certification.
The distribution facility 220 GSP Logistics Parkway has received LEED-NC Certification. The facility, which spans more than 700,000 square feet, features energy-efficient installations that minimize environmental impact and reduce utility costs, according to a news release. The property is owned by CenterPoint Properties, headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill.
"Our commitment to LEED demonstrates that CenterPoint is focused on implementing sustainability measures in its industrial facilities that influence ecological and social aspects across our portfolio," Brian Hollings, CenterPoint vice president of development, said in the release.
