One industry that has not I been feeling the pain of recession and other economic downturns is e-discovery consulting. IBISWorld estimates that revenue for the e-discovery consulting industry has increased 9.4% annually over the last five years.

"During that time, the industry has benefited from the rising ubiquity of digital communication, which has increased the amount of electronically stored information," said IBISWorld industry analyst Kevin Culbert.
