Disciplinary actions.

As a result of investigations of alleged violations of the Codes of Professional Conduct of the AICPA and/or state CPA societies, the following ethics cases have been resolved by settlement agreement under the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program:

* John R. Hepfer of Lansing, Mich., suspended from membership in the AICPA and the Michigan Association of CPAs for 24 months, effective May 11, 2004.

* Gregory T. Shields of Richmond, Ind., expelled from membership in the AICPA and the Indiana CPA Society, effective May 20, 2004.

As a result of decisions by hearing panels of the Joint Trial Board, the following members have had their AICPA memberships:

--Terminated:

* Kenneth R. Johse of Wharton, Tex., effective May 2, 2004.

* Robert G. Sedlacek of Chicago, effective June 18, 2004.

* Craig G. Stayner of Salt Lake City, effective June 17, 2004.

* Arthur R. Venezia of Farmingdale, N.Y., effective June 17, 2004.

--Suspended:

* Deborah Werner of West Islip, N.Y., effective June 18, 2004.

Under the automatic disciplinary provisions of the Institute's bylaws, the following members have had their AICPA memberships:

--Terminated because of final judgments of conviction for crimes punishable by imprisonment for more than one year:

* Jeffrey S. Ginn of Lexington, Ky., effective June 1, 2004.

* Robert P. Mild of Masury, Ohio, effective June 1, 2004.

* James N. Wuensche of Scottsdale, Ariz., effective June 1, 2004.
