Cuba House may soon pass bill lifting ban on travel to Cuba. The U.S. House of Representatives is poised to pass legislation as soon as next month that would lift a ban on travel and ease restrictions on agricultural imports to Cuba, according to the bill's sponsor. The bill, known as the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act, would end a 47-year prohibition on Americans traveling to Cuba, and President Barack Obama has said he envisions a "new era" in relations with Cuba.
