According to the Colorado Independent, Denver's police department agreed to a $50,000 settlement with the newspaper's editor Susan Greene. In July 2018, Greene's First Amendment rights were violated when officer's wrongfully handcuffed and detained her for photographing a police interaction with a naked man they had handcuffed.
