There are many quintessential rushes in life, but you would be hard pressed--at least from our vantage point--to match the feeling provided by great-sounding music. We're not here to argue tastes; whatever you're into ... well ... you're into. What we're saying is that whatever your listening pleasure, that genre sounds better on high-definition digital radio, which, in this age of seemingly daily new technology trends, immediately caught our attention--and why not, given the crystalclear sound, an explosion in new and unique stations and formats, and no subscription fees? (The content is free and local, just like radio always had been until the last few years.)

With HD radio, AM sounds like FM and FM sounds like a CD. Because digital broadcasts allow radio stations to send out more than one channel on their frequency, there has been a widespread proliferation of novel formats and content on the HD2 multicast channels that are hidden "between the stations" on the radio dial.
