THANKS TO CLF's PERSISTENT advocacy, Rhode Island issued T.F. Green Airport one of the most advanced and stringent pollution discharge permits ever given to a U.S. airport. Pollution from the airport threatens important herring populations in Buckeye Brook, which is one of Rhode Island's few remaining natural runs of blueback herring and alewives.
