DEDICATION
This Sixth Edition of the Manual is dedicated to Edward R. (Ned) Slaughter, Jr., Commissioner of Accounts, Albemarle County, 1986-2018, whose contributions to the Standing Committee and Commissioner of Accounts system were recognized in the following resolution presented to him by the Virginia Conference of Commissioners of Accounts on October 23, 2018, upon the announcement of his retirement.
Whereas, since 1986, Edward R. Slaughter, Jr., has served as the Commissioner of Accounts of the Circuit Court for the County of Albemarle; and,
Whereas, during the thirty-two years since his appointment as Commissioner of Accounts, Edward R. Slaughter, Jr. has provided to all Virginia Commissioners of Accounts wise leadership and sound guidance; and,
