The American Society of International Law (ASIL) announces the publication of its new book A Decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind, a collection of speeches by Supreme Court Justices regarding international law. The volume was edited by ASIL member Christopher J. Borgen, assistant professor of law at St. John's University.

A Decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind is the first ever compilation of major addresses over the past century by Justices of the Supreme Court to ASIL annual meetings.
