Meeting the Common Core State Standards, we've heard from many of you, is one of your biggest challenges in the classroom. At Upfront, we're happy to lend a hand. If you go to the Teacher Resources and Printables pages at upfrontmagazine.com, you'll see one new supplement and one "rebranded" supplement to help you meet the Common Core for both Social Studies and English/Language Arts.

The new supplement, Core Ideas, can be used with any article in Upfront. It asks students to address five key Common Core-related questions that will have them analyzing complex informational texts, as the standards require.
