Charlotte is expected to lose a corporate headquarters in October when Venturi Partners merges with Houston-based Comsys Holding, a private information-technology staffing company, in an all-stock transaction estimated at $104 million. Venturi, which had 2003 revenue of $495 million, changed its name last year from Personnel Group of America. It has an IT-staffing division and one for general-office, accounting and light-industrial work. Venturi stockholders will own about 45% of Comsys IT Partners.
