IBM's DB2 Intelligent Miner Scoring is designed to permit banks customers according to predetermined criteria and make real-time decisions. Intended as an extension to IBM's DB2 Universal Database, which was introduced in March, the new program module works directly from a relational database but does not require special training to use. Rather, the company says, the product "puts real-time analytics in the hands of the people on the front lines of GRM applications."
