CPA Letter Daily, other e-newsletters prove popular with members; RSS feeds available.

Launched on Sept. 15, CPA Letter Daily has become a popular news resource with AICPA members. Each weekday, CPA Letter Daily delivers summaries of the top business, financial and accounting news culled from hundreds of sources. It includes: links to the full-length source articles; videos; research and analysis; and interactive features, such as polls. By Oct. 13, more than 92,000 people had signed up to receive the e-newsletter each weekday and the number continues to grow.

In addition to the Daily, the AICPA launched two free monthly e-newsletters, also available on an opt-in basis. IFRS Report was published for the first time on Oct. 2. A monthly e-newsletter on accounting for a global marketplace, IFRS Report has attracted more than 52,000 readers. The other monthly e-newsletter, InfoTech Update, launched on Oct. 2 to AICPA IT section members and Certified Information Technology Professional Credential holders, as well as to more than 37,000 members who opted-in to the publication when they signed up for the Daily. The next issue of InfoTech Update, being released on Nov. 6, will be sent to all AICPA members so they have an opportunity to opt-in after viewing it. Both monthly publications will be issued on the first Thursday of each month.

Many subscribers also have taken advantage of the multiple features offered by the CPA Letter Daily news box, or widget. Housed on the www.aicpa.org...
