D. [§ 6.29] Accounting
Upon ratification by the circuit court, the matter is referred to a court auditor to state an account. Md. Rule 14-305(f). The trustee will have to make a report to the auditor indicating the amount owed by the debtor as well as all costs of foreclosure and the amount received at foreclosure. The auditor will review the trustee's report and, if it is acceptable, will send it to the circuit court for confirmation, at which time the proceeds can be distributed.
