• Position: Cultural links between Spain and the Americas - OAS

A series of twelve lectures on the spiritual links between spain and the Americas opened on September 10 at the OAS Art Museum of the Americas. These seminars will explore both the relationship between Spain and the Arts in the Americas and the historical relationship and development of culture as a part of our heritage.

The program combines lectures by prominent scholars, art historians and critics, with relevant music and dramatic enactments, as well as art from the permanent collection of the OAS Art Museum. This multi-media format will provide participants an opportunity to investigate interrelationships between a variety of art forms. Each seminar/event will focus on one preeminent writer, philosopher, poet, dramatist, composer artist or film director and that person's artistic indebtedness to Spain.
