Crosby honored for corporate leadership.

Ralph D. Crosby Jr., former chairman and CEO of LADS North America, has been awarded the National Defense Industrial Association's lames Forrestal Industry Leadership Medal in recognition of his corporate leadership and commitment to a robust defense industrial base.

NDIA Chairman Sean O'Keefe, and retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Lawrence P. Farrell Jr., the association's president and CEO, jointly presented the award to Crosby at an NDIA luncheon at Tysons Corner, Va., which was attended by more than 60 defense industry executives.

Crosby was recognized for his corporate leadership, absolute integrity, exceptional achievements, and substantive contributions to the technological superiority enjoyed by U.S. Armed Forces for more than 40 years.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Crosby served his country in uniform in Germany and Vietnam, culminating a distinguished military career as military staff assistant to the vice president of the United States.

Throughout his follow-on career in the defense industry, Crosby labored tirelessly to deepen the transatlantic industrial ties that bind the United States to its most important global partners.

His unique contributions in this area had a lasting impact on the U.S. and allied defense industrial bases and the military services they support.
