Members of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including Personal Financial Specialist credential holders in the state, are providing free phone consultation on a host of financial counseling services to victims of Hurricanes Charley and Frances. Hurricane victims can call the FICPA's Hurricane Help Line at 800/342-3197, then press 1, for referral to a volunteer CPA who can assist them with filing insurance claims, filing casualty losses on their income tax returns, cash-flow planning and other services.
