Now, in addition to dot-com, dot-org and dot-net, a new top level of domain (TLD) for accredited accounting professionals is being developed: the "dot-pro" designation.

The .pro top-level domain would be administered by a joint venture formed by register.com and Virtual Internet, doing business as RegistryPro (www.registrypro.com).
