Initial investigation of medical science related to COVID-19 shows that it is a com-

municable and virus disease. The origination of these types of viral diseases is only

because of the imbalance in the biosphere or ecosystem. Whole world is wondering

to get answer to the significant question that when the normal life will started after

this epidemic crisis? The answer of this question has to be found out by human being

himself. Human being on this earth is considered as one of the sensible species. But

the level of destruction carried out in the form of pollution (air pollution, water pollu-

tion, soil erosion, etc.) and deforestation are main certain reasons which create a lot

of damage to natural resources. Now in such situation, emergence of this COVID-19

is not unexpected. In this situation, special attention has to be given to investigate

the adverse impact of human activities on natural resources. The main purpose of

this study is to briefly highlight the various initiatives of the WHO along with Gov-

ernment of India in order to manage the emergency situation related to COVID-19

for Indian population. In order to highlight the various initiatives adopted by Indian

Government in this situation, “Situation reports”issued by World Health Organiza-

tion have been properly studied in order to explain the main crux of those reports.

Till April 23, 2020, total numbers of 12 reports are published on the website of

WHO. Results of the study reveal that although India also faces the similar dangerous

problem of this virus but the initiatives of the Indian Government are admirable

because of those, third stage of COVID-19 (community transfer) has not reached.

1|INTRODUCTION

Since January 30, 2020, Indian (Kerala) population have confronted

from one of the most contagious diseases termed as COVID-19 (coro-

navirus) (India Today, January 30, 2020). Basically, this initial knocking

from this dangerous disease gave the birth to three new cases in

India. All these identified cases were foreign return students from

China (Wuhan). After these few cases in India, human beings all over

the country become aware and scared about this fact that some kind

of virus originated in China (Wuhan) has spread in India (Reid, 2020).

Further within few days, it was realized that human life was in serious

danger as communicated by government official's bodies like the Min-

istry of Health and Family Welfare and media too (Source: www.

mohfw.gov.in/).

2|BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

2.1 |Danger to human life worldwide

countries like America (784,326), Italy (181,228), and Spain

(200,210) encountered with maximum numbers of confirmed

cases (Source: coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality, till May

21, 2020]. According to the real-time database, research con-

ducted by experts of the Johns Hopkins University on COVID-19,

it has been found that morality rates (death rates) of the first

10 countries are very shocking. The detail information about all

the countries' condition till April 20th, 2020 has been shown in

Table 1 and Figure 1.
