Countybank Foundation gives $150,000 to Self Regional Health Care Foundation.

Countybank and Greenwood Capital Associates helped Self Regional Healthcare Foundation exceed its minimum 2020 fundraising campaign goal through a check for $150,000 announced last week. The gift follows the CountyBank Foundation's previous donations totaling more than $650,000 since the healthcare system's founding in 1985.

"Our organizations strongly believe that having a premier locally-owned healthcare system like SRHC in our community not only benefits every business, large and small, but most importantly every person in our region," R. Thornwell Dunlap III, president and CEO of Countybank, said in a news release. "We are thrilled to be in a position to invest in what we believe is one of the Lakelands' most important assets."

Funds from the campaign, called "Self Regional Healthcare's Our Vision is 2020," will go to the foundation's childbirth center, surgery center and ongoing emergency department renovations.
