Countybank and Greenwood Capital donate $47,002 to United Way Greenville.

Countybank and Greenwood Capital donated $47,002 as part of their annual campaign to United Way of Greenville County. Associates from both organizations made personal pledge donations totaling $37,002 as part of the employee campaign, while the Countybank Foundation provided an additional campaign contribution of $10,000, according to a news release.

"The incredible generosity from the team at Countybank and Greenwood Capital will change so many individual lives and strengthen our entire community in the process," United Way of Greenville County President and CEO Meghan Barp said in the news release. "We are proud to partner with them to build a Greenville County where everyone can thrive."

Dollars raised in the campaign will support United Way's goal to build a cycle of success for everyone in Greenville County, which includes investments in more than 100 programs and initiatives addressing basic needs, education and financial stability, according to the release. Each year, United Way investments touch the lives of 100,000 people in Greenville County.
