On August 29, Greenpeace delivered a copy of an Indian arrest warrant at the Long Island home of Warren Anderson, former C.E.O. of Union Carbide. Anderson faces charges of culpable homicide and an extradition request from the Bhopal Court in India. He was C.E.O. of Union Carbide in December 1984 when a toxic gas leak in the company's pesticide plant in Bhopal killed more than 3,000 people.
