he copyright community celebrated an impor-
tant milestone this summer—one full year of the
Copyright Claims Board (CCB or Board). The
CCB is a small claims tribunal designed to resolve
copyright disputes with damages up to $30,000. It is
an alternative to federal court, the only other tribunal
available to resolve copyright disputes.
