ControlPath Inc., a developer of automated compliance management solutions, has released a new version of the ControlPath Compliance Suite, with a graphical process modeler and automatic configuration that it says can speed deployment of the risk management software by as much as one third.

By streamlining the installation process of the compliance automation software, Englewood, Colo.-based ControlPath addressed one of the key technology issues for compliance managers--the time to get compliance software up and running.

The new graphical process flow modeler in version 3.5 of the ControlPath Compliance Suite greatly simplifies the creation of the risk assessment activities, replacing dialog boxes and pull-down menus with drag-and-drop, graphical elements. The new modeler, ControlPath claims, reduces the process of creating complex compliance workflows from several days to a few hours.
