Sohaila Abdulali is a freelance writer based in New York. She has published two novels, three children's books, short stories, and writes regularly for newspapers in the US and India.

Michael Bennett is Manuscript Co-Editor of Radical Teacher. He recently retired as Professor of English at Long Island University, Brooklyn. He is now pursuing various creative and political projects.

Jackie Brady is Associate Professor of English and Associate Director of Composition at Kingsborough Community College (CUNY). Her research interests include progressive education and the cultural history of fitness and yoga in the U.S. She is also a board member and book review editor of Radical Teacher.

Sarah E. Chinn teaches in and is chair of the English department at Hunter College, CUNY. Her work focuses on the literatures and cultures of 19th century US literature, as well as issues of gender, race, class, sexuality, (dis)ability, and childhood.

Robert Cowan is Assistant Dean for Program Development, Assessment, & Review in the School of Arts & Sciences at Hunter College and Professor of English at Kingsborough Community College, both of The City University of New York. He has taught for twenty years in a variety of institutions from prep schools to Riker's Island. His scholarly work focuses on Counter-Enlightenment thought, Orientalism/Occidentalism, identification-recognition theory, and critical pedagogy.
