diCarta Inc., a provider of enterprise contract management solutions, has released diCarta Contracts for ERP, which the company says makes it the first contract management solution provider to offer a packaged integration solution for major enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The offering includes the diCarta Contracts application, the diCarta Integration Server and diCarta Enterprise Adapters for major ERP systems, including SAP, PeopleSoft and Oracle, as well as adapters for more than a dozen leading enterprise applications. The solution also includes a graphical integration toolset for rapidly creating custom integrations.

ERP systems are adept at handling structured information, such as purchase orders and line items, whereas effective contract management requires enterprise-class sophistication in managing the unstructured information and complex terms found inmost agreements. San Carlos, Calif.based diCarta says it provides structure to contract information, paving the way for operational ERP systems to be systematically driven by actual contract language.
