I am finishing a seven-year term on the board of Capital Towers, a high-rise apartment complex owned by area Presbyterian churches for low-income people in Raleigh. I have chaired Rex Hospital Open Corporate Challenge, a benefit golf tournament for 15 years and have been a committee chair for the Rex Hospital Open. Both tournaments raise money for the Rex Healthcare Foundation. I hope that I have some impact on the community that I am so fortunate to live in.
