Connecting with other members creates community

One benefit of association membership is connecting with a community of those who have similar interests. The Ohio Society of CPAs fast-tracks that benefit by offering online communities organized around 14 special interest topics.

These communities, called Special Interest Sections, have now become even more dynamic thanks to partnership with the Society's Member Connections program.

In addition to inside information, news and the electronic forum, members can now take advantage of special events and conference calls on hot topics geared toward section members. In the future, the Member Connections program will offer special discounts and offers at events exclusively available to section members.

What are Special Interest Sections?

Sections offer Ohio Society members an opportunity to communicate, network and share ideas with colleagues statewide who have similar interests.

The Ohio Society of CPAs Professional Issues Updates offer you both an update on the profession and a forum to discuss current issues impacting CPAs.

Peer review transparency, practice mobility, the image of the profession and audit work papers are among the key topics that will be covered.
