Top Government and Congressional Officials To Speak at TEI's 55th Annual Conference.

High-level government representatives from the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Department of Treasury, and Congress are slated to address registrants at TEI's 55th Annual Conference in San Diego. The four-day conference begins Sunday, October 22.

IRS Commissioner Charles Rossotti will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday luncheon and is expected to provide an update on the IRS reorganization. TEI President Betty M. Wilson noted that the Commissioner will discuss the IRS's new Large and Mid-Size Business Division, which officially "stood up" on June 4. "TEI has been working closely with several IRS design teams and we look forward to hearing a progress report," she said.
