Chester County, PA. Congressional candidate John Murphy, who is a member of the Pennsylvania Green Party, called for President Bush to start telling the American people the truth about Iraq:

"On Sunday night the president told us about his three-part plan for Iraq which turned out to be the same plan that the leaders in the Democratic and Republican parties have been advancing since the unconstitutional and immoral invasion took place: 'stay the course.'

"Every time President Bush speaks, the American people must make a decision whether or not to believe him. President Bush lied to us about the weapons of mass destruction. It was not faulty intelligence; it was not misinformation; it was a deliberate lie. Any twelve-year-old with a modem could have told you in 1998, when President Clinton began the lies about weapons of mass destruction, that the weapons sold to Saddam Hussein by President Reagan were either already destroyed or accounted for."

According to Murphy, President Bush also lied about the relationship between Osama and Saddam, a relationship which was in reality one of enmity. Murphy further indicated that the president lied about the relationship of Iraq to the terrorist attack on 9/11.
