Thousands of industry professionals attended the American Correctional Association's 2016 Winter Conference in New Orleans. The January event was packed with workshops and exhibits over the six days. Political consultant James Carville and Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch delivered the two general addresses, and guests took some time to enjoy the local scene, as well.

Attendees met old friends and new at the Health Care Welcome Reception on Friday evening (right). The event was sponsored by Correct Rx Pharmacy Services. Loretta E. Lynch (below), attorney general of the United States, talked about new restrictive housing policies and the actions her office will take to ensure the justice system is used "wisely and effectively." She also advocated for federal prisons to be set on "a path that is more fair and more sustainable for inmates, correctional offices and taxpayers alike."
