Even in an uncertain economy, companies still place a high priority on giving back to the community, a survey developed by Robert Half Management Resources, North America's largest consulting services firm providing senior-level accounting and finance professionals on a project basis, suggests. Thirty-one percent of chief financial officers polled said social responsibility programs that support charitable giving are very important to their organizations, while 45% feel these efforts are at least somewhat important.
