* HIT, a Virginia Beach, Va.-based company, is marketing a water purification system in a bottle that was conceived by inventor Michael Pritchard of the United Kingdom. Called, Lifesaver, the bottle relies on a proprietary filtration process that strips bacteria, fungi, parasites, microbiological pathogens from water without chemical additives.
