In 1986 Indian Line Farm was one of two farms where the Community Supported Agriculture movement got its starts in the United States. (A CSA consists of 8 group of individuals who pledge support to a farm by prepaying for a share of the season's harvest. There are now over 1,300 in the United States alone.)
