As we head into the last few months of 2019, GFOA staff is hard at work preparing for a successful 2020. As GFOA membership grows, we are expanding service offerings and improving the ways in which members can engage with each other and the association--including several new initiatives coming next year. Stay tuned for announcements on these important initiatives (and more):

1. GFOA's 114th Annual Conference in New Orleans. Building on the success of the 2019 conference, we are busy planning our 2020 Conference--which will again feature three keynote speakers, more than 70 concurrent sessions, and endless opportunities to meet, share lessons learned and best practices, and connect with other talented and knowledgeable finance officers.

2. Revised Blue Book. GFOA will release an updated version of its famous "Blue Book," Governmental Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting, including additional guidance on new GASB standards. This will be the first major revision since 2012.

3. Updates to Government Finance Review. GFOA is working to update our bi-monthly publication, Government Finance Review. While we will continue to provide information on industry trends, case studies, and practitioner-focused articles, we're improving our format and adding content areas.

4. New Website. GFOA plans to launch a new website in 2020. We are excited to show off the new "digital face" of GFOA as we better...
